One of the side effects on joining the scuttle to the bonnet is that I will have much easier access to the electrical gear beneath the scuttle. The down side is that I have never been very happy with it.
When I first wired the car I simply did one circuit at a time and didn’t try to anticipate grounding needs and cable runs. Consequently it looks like a “less disorganized rat’s nest“.
Well no more…I bit the bullet and completely rewired the scuttle area, which is essentially the entire electrical system.
After tearing apart every circuit in the car and rewiring it without applying power once to test it passed the smoke test on the first try and everything worked! That must be a miracle…
