I noticed quite a bit of transmission fluid beneath the car and realized the rear seal on the transmission had failed. For some reason I can’t remember, probably laziness, I didn’t change it when I bought it and installed it on the engine. Anyway, it wasn’t too hard a job to change it in the car.
I wired in the horn, and took the opportunity to do more wiring cleanup. I also splice in a line for the license plate light when it arrives.
I have a few ideas for solving the wind shield problem, but they all require new parts that are fairly long lead. So we’ll see how that plays out.
