Rear body fasteners and some welding

I work some more on the radiator duct, the light is at the end of the tunnel.  I think another few hours of sanding and the duct will be finished.

Yesterday I stripped the rust off the rear axle and treated it with phosphoric acid to passivate the surface rust. Then I primered the rear axle in preparation for some high temperature aluminum paint.

I drilled the fasteners for the rear GRP and the rear wings.  I am looking for a good core material to split the wings when I widen them.

I welded in a small diagonal to support the floor of the  gas tank compartment.
